I have always been in awe at my aunt’s capability to easily take note of anything her employer says, dictates and put them into word document.
When I check the paper she has been writing on, I only see garbled lines and curves.
What kind of handwriting is she doing?
So I learned about being a stenographer.
It is a very intriguing and definitely a must learn for all. Not only for those who are in the administrative jobs, but those, like me, looking at a career in court reporting school .
Checking the net allowed me to see court reporting online, and allowing me to finally reach my dreams. It is somewhat difficult having to listen and write, right?
With the skills taught to you at stenographer school, you will be better prepared and trained to know what to listen to, and how to easily transcribe all that is happening.
Court cases have constantly been a mystery to me, in a sense that these lawyers who represent different kinds of individuals would only need facts and documents and then come out ready to defend you. Some say that this is one of the best jobs in the world, because you are paid very well, with only the use of your tongue and saliva. Then again, when I thought about it, it was not just about brains and talk, it was what was behind every case and belief that their clients have something to fight for…and I am right smack in the middle of it, taking it all on writing.
