A private school and a boys school are not like most schools in our country. While public schools run entirely on government funds, a private school and a boys school receive no money from the government. A public school can receive additional grants and funding, while a private school must raise all of the money that they require to operate. The funding process for each type of school varies.

Many private schools and a boys school must charge tuition of some kind. Some students can apply for scholarships or financial aid, but some payment must be made to attend a private school. Location, academic prestige, and class offerings dictate the price of a school.

Many schools also have fund-raising efforts and foundations in place. Auctions, sales, and other campaigns help these efforts. Because all money comes from non-government sources, a private school and a boys school must get creative when it comes to fund-raising.

Private schools and boys schools find funding in many different areas. Their educational value is generally perceived as worth the cost.
